Built on research, used in practice.
The Scale & Wings approach brings together research and real-world practice. It builds on the work behind Collaborate to Innovate, including more than 100 interviews with founders, corporate innovation leaders and ecosystem experts, as well as direct work with large private- and public-sector organisations and tech and deep-tech founders across Europe and beyond.
Central to this work is the Co-Innovation Builder (CIB), a practical framework whose development was led by Adèle Yaroulina and co-created with representatives from the startup, corporate and academic worlds. Early versions were tested with more than 2,400 participants across 140 countries. Upon its publication, the CIB attracted over 11,000 unique online visits from nearly 200 countries.
Scale & Wings turns this evidence base and international validation into practical guidance for real collaboration challenges. Our methodology bridges corporate discipline and startup agility - helping organisations prepare for collaboration, select the right partners, design lower-risk pilots and make informed decisions about scaling.
The result is a structured yet flexible approach, adapted to the realities of each collaboration.
